Where are you? We realize it's only February 20th, but we were hoping you'd at least stop by! Old Man Winter has definitely over-stayed his welcome and we're ready to send him on his way; however, we need you to arrive! Today's -25 degree wind chill makes us feel like ugly step-children as you continue to grace Texas, California, and Arizona with your presence.
Andrew is ready to go to the bus stop instead of watching from the window. Tanner and Reid are sick of being bundled like marshmallows from head to toe. And, Mike's hands are ready for a break from the dry, cold weather (see earlier post entitled All Tuckered Out). Our winter coats, boots, hats and gloves are beckoning to be put to rest. Meanwhile, our flip flops and capris are ready to make their debut. Please know there is an open invitation for your arrival. Until then, my Vanentine's Day flowers will have to work overtime as a hope of warmer days to come!

Love this Lizzie! Just today I was thinking how tired I was of Winter and that even a glimpse of Spring would be nice. Instead, we have gross, icky, inversion air right now. Classic Utah Winter!

Ah, can I tell you the number one reason (ok, maybe number two) that I'm not looking forward to moving to Iowa - the Winters. For now, however, I will have to bask in our once a week 50 degree weather.
If it makes you feel even the slightest bit less like an ugly step-sister, it has been gloomy and rainy for a couple of weeks here in Southern California with only a day or two of sunshine to break things up now and then. Nowhere near as cold though. I hope spring hurries up for you!
Sorry about your weather....i hate to admit it....especially knowing that all good things come to an end, but it has been gorgeous here in Washington for the last week....sunny, clear skies, no rain, in the 50s-60s.....wish i could pass some on to you! it has been nice to get out and enjoy the outdoors!
I hear ya! This winter is killing me. Do you want to move somewhere warm with me where we can go to the pool everyday? We can at least dream right?

Liz i'm with you. this winter thing is brutal. Great for the first while but we are outdoors people and missing it a LOT!!!
I hear you! You know CO weather!! Yesterday it was 74- literally and today, crazy snow!! Reid and Tanner are so dang cute and I'm digging your new stroller! You're quite the mama!!
