We dropped the boys off in Bountiful and then headed to beautiful Park City and did some outlet shopping and enjoyed lunch at Cafe Rio. We then headed to Provo Canyon and found a nice campsite where we did our annual planning. I know it sounds nerdy, but I love doing this with Mike. After these kinds of conversations I feel rejuvenated and everything seems doable. We built a fire and made s'mores and had a great afternoon and evening.

The next day we got up and hiked up Stewart Falls. Being in the mountains just makes me so happy! It was a beautiful day and we had a great hike.
That night we went to my uncle Steve's new restaurant, La Jolla Groves, in the Riverwoods with April and Glenn. The food was amazing! For those of you near Provo, you definitely need to give it a try. It was a fun evening with two of our favorite people and only one child with us (usually we have seven in tow).
This little lady is such a dream! Seriously, she is so easy going and fun to have around. She must have known this was our special weekend together because she was absolutely delightful.
Saturday morning we went to the temple and then back up to Bountiful to pick up the boys. We had a wonderful time together! I was reminded that we really need to make an effort to get away without children every once and a while. We loved being alone together, yet missed the boys, and came back ready to handle messy faces, tantrums, creative and involved ideas, spilled milk, and more! Thanks Mom and Dad C. for making it happened, you're the best!

Looks a great break! I have one question - what does annual planning entail? Maybe Bob and I need to start something like this.
