Homecoming Weekend

Homecoming weekend started Friday night by attending a Gala for Mentors International. Adam and Meghan came with us, along with April and Glenn, Mark and Melissa, and Edgar and Sarah. We had such a great evening together and enjoyed David Archuletta as the entertainer for the evening! I wish I would have brought my camera. Thanks for the pic, Meghan.Saturday morning, Natalie and I started the day by running nine awesome miles together! I love starting my day with a run, especially if I'm running with Natalie! Then Mike had a lot of studying to do, so he headed to campus and I took the kids to the homecoming parade. We had such a great time!
I feel like we've been to a handful of parades lately, and this was by far the best! The other parades have been filled with campaigns for public office, blah, blah, blah. We want bands, floats, folk dancers, and Cosmo!
Ya, we got Cosmo! We got hugs from Cosmo!

Mike finished his studying and we headed to the game with the whole family. It was the perfect weather for an afternoon game and we had such a great time!

My brother, Josh, and his family joined us for the game. Our kids had a blast together!Andrew, and all other children, enjoyed the Cougar Tail Josh bought. What a treat!

We were in the last seven minutes of the 4th quarter and our kids were ready to go home. Then, Whit pulled out this tube of glow stick she picked up at the store. She's a genius! Everyone was happily entertained until the end of the game.

We thought it would be another disappointing game, but BYU pulled out a win and they looked better than the last few games, which isn't hard to do. Regardless, we were happy with the W and had such a great afternoon/evening with our cousins watching our beloved Cougars play ball!
