The Long Awaited Graduation

I think these first pictures display exactly how our family felt about the much anticipated graduation from MBA school. We had so much fun jumping off the bench in celebration of Mike's big accomplishment! Each picture says, we made it, we did grad school with four kids, in a small town home, we kept our sanity, we had fun, we brainwashed our children to only want for BYU, we learned, we grew, we loved this experience, yet we're so happy it's over!

We were so happy my parents could make it! They have been great cheerleaders for us while we've been in school and were so great to drive in from Colorado and we loved spending this special weekend with them.
I love this girl!!! April and I are only a year apart and we've shared so much of life together. I'm incredibly grateful (and Mike is too) that she and Glenn happened to move to UT right as we were starting school. She saved me! I don't know how many times I drove to her house, made some kind of treat in her kitchen, slept in her basement, ate her food, and talked her ear off. She sent me home with freezer meals and a hug when I was pregnant and exhausted. April is good to the core, I hope to be more like her in my next life!

I choke up when I think about leaving Mike's parents. They have been incredibly supportive of our family these last two years. Grandma Day has been such a special day for my kids and such an incredible blessing for me. We love going to Bountiful and spending the evening just talking with Mom and Dad C. They're two of the most giving and kind people I know. I'm so grateful we've been close to them during school.
Isn't this adorable little girl such a ham?

Graduation was wonderful! Thursday night we went to dinner with both of our parents and had a lovely evening having uninterrupted adult conversation that was so fun and uplifting. After graduation, we enjoyed a reception at the Tanner building with all of Mike's classmates and families where it was fun to take pictures with friends and say good byes. Afterward, we went to April's house where we ate and the kids played all evening. We woke Saturday morning sad it was over because the festivities were so fun! It was the perfect celebration!
