Camping
We wanted to go camping this summer before it got too hot and before I got too big. So, we went out to Pawnee Lake Friday evening and set up camp. We camped right on the lake and Andrew had a great time running around exploring everything.
We were very surprised and impressed at how well Andrew slept in the tent. We actually had a great night's sleep until the sun came up at 5:30 a.m. and Andrew was ready to go. Too bad tents don't come with blinds!
Here's Andrew getting his work done. It cracks me up how he'll pick something up and carry it with such determination as if it's his job.
Here are my two boys waiting for our dutch oven breakfast!

Looks like so much fun! You are a trooper to sleep in a tent being pregnant with twins! You get the Mom Award for sure!
What a great place to camp! It sounds like you guys had a fun time. I'm surprised Mike isn't burned out from too much camping with the YM!!
hey! that looks like so much fun! way to go guys!
how fun!! I love camping and it's so much fun to do it with your kids!!!! glad you inserted a picture of you in there! you are looking great of course!!!
What fun! I love camping!!! Andrew is so cute!!! I was laughing because I think Calvin will have more hair than Andrew does for a long time!
Looks like fun! We really enjoy camping too. Jackson doesn't really get it yet and probably didn't like that we mostly had to hold him, when we went camping, because anything within his reach, right now, goes into his mouth.
PS you look cute in the picture you posted of you and andrew.
What a fun little camping trip. Looked so pretty and green. It is cute to see you pregnant with TWINS!
Looks like so much fun. I need something like a good camping trip. Um Liz, you are not looking 26 weeks along. What? I want a picture that proves that you are really "big."
No one like Liz to go camping pregnant with twins and a baby. That's why I love you. I think I need to get a camping trip in soon!
The only reason I would attempt camping while pregnant and with a 16 month old is because I have a great husband who isn't afraid of pulling his load, and then some! We really had a great time-- not T.v., phone, or computer!
It looks like fun! I can't wait to get a couple of camping trips in this summer. Andrew is such a boy. What a cutie!!!:)
