Home Sweet Home

Since having Tanner and Reid, we stay home much more than we used to. I'm sure you can imagine why. The days can sometimes get long and it is nice to get out, but I have to admit that I love being in my home with my little guys! Our home is small, but so perfect for our little family and we really have made it ours. I'm still in the process of making our nursery look like a nursery, but it will come together soon enough. Here are a few happenings of our home in the last two days...

I couldn't find Andrew yesterday afternoon and I finally discovered him under Tanner and Reid's crib playing in the exersaucer (where it is currently broken down and stored).
My sister, Rachael, gave us her Bumbo over the Christmas holidays and my boys love it! It's so fun to see them sitting up like big boys. Here's Reid enjoying a little Bumbo time. This morning Andrew got ahold of my rubber gloves. He even grabbed a scrubber and started scrubbing the floor. Funny kiddo!

Not pictured: Tanner sleeping all over the house in random places because he can and will, and sometimes Reid needs to cry it out.

Last week I sat down in our big chair in our front room to do some reading and I realized that the first time I sat in that chair in that room I was expecting Andrew. My house was clean, orderly, and quiet. I was big and pregnant and full of anticipation. I look at my front room now and there are two baskets of laundry that need to be folded, two baby chairs, a Cozy Coupe car, and a toy box. My house is always in the process of being cleaned, it is no longer quiet, and sometimes I just have to get out...but I love it!

What cute kiddos! Happy Birthday to Andrew! I love the car you got for him. I'm sure all the kids will use it a ton through the years.

I feel the same way about my house these days, and I only have 2. There is always something to be picked up, and laundry to be folded...

Okay, can I just say that Andrew is on his way to being like his dad. Rubber gloves on and ready to work. Reid in the bumbo was so darling. He looks so big and i love the expression on his face.

I can't believe Andrew is already two. Time flies. If we ever have a boy I will have to come to you for boy tips so we aren't getting him dolls for birthdays. I love the train set.

Seeing all the pics and reading really made me miss you guys.

I wish we were there to give you guys a date night. I can't wait to see what this boy has in store for us. My girls are such neat freaks...

Cute! I can totally relate to the messes! I guess that is all part of raising a family. One day our house will be quiet and clean again and then I'll probably be sad wishing i had the kids young again!! So as everyone tells me - enjoy it while you can!!
