This is a random post, but lately I've been keeping a running list of things I love. It's been fun to jot things down throughout my day. This isn't my complete list, but here are a few.
A four day work week! Mike rarely takes a day off and only gets the regular 4th of July and Thanksgiving kinds of holidays; however, he randomly had Good Friday off!! I love having my honey home and love love love a four day work week!
I love an empty dishwasher!! I'm not sure what it is, but there's something great about opening the dishwasher and having all the available space to load dirty dishes.
My Bosch is one of my greatest loves! Somehow the most perfect desserts and treats come out of that delightful machine that sits on my counter.
Having good friends for dinner! The kind of friends who know that my husband has to walk out the door to a youth fireside, so they help do the dishes so that I'm not left with a disasterous kitchen and three tired kids.
I love a trusted recipe!!
I love when Mike takes all three kids to the grocery store...by himself! I know how much work it is and I love that he's not scared of that work. He loves to be with our boys!
A trip to Super Target excites me! There is something about the cleanliness of the aisles and all the possible purchases that excite me. My kids do really well on shopping trips and it's a fun outing for all!
I love Spring! I think it's so exciting to see all the trees blossom and watch my tulips emerge. Mike gets a daily foliage report and I'm amazed he doesn't notice things like the dogwood tree blossoms four houses down!
I love my boys! I especially love seeing them interact with each other. It always seems like my boys get going at meal times. Andrew sits in his booster seat, one baby is in the exersaucer, and the other in an animal chair. I think it's something about the way they're all positioned, but they all get giggling at each other and it's the cutest thing ever!
Here's to loving life!!
ps- One more. Trace Adkins song, "You're Going to Miss This" It's been one of my favorites lately.

Love your list. I am so impressed that your husband is willing to go grocery shopping with all the kiddos. Very brave indeed. You know my love of Super Target. Every time I walk in that store, I get a big smile on my face.
You have a lot to love--it's great! And send some of that springtime our way--we aren't seeing it yet!
What a great list!! It made me feel happier just reading the things YOU love. Thanks for sharing a few of your favorite things.
Fun list! I should do something like that as I could really use it right now! Thanks for sharing.
One of the things I love is YOU!! Liz, you're great. That Trace Adkins song is so great, it makes me cry-- these are the best times of our life.
What a fun list! Random thoughts are great - that seems to be how my brain works anyway. And I love that song too. It reminds me to enjoy what I have now, even when everyone's crying at the same time!
I also love an empty dishwasher - but for different reasons. I love it because it means there is nothing to put away.
Great post.
I am super impressed that Mike will go to the store with all three boys. I can't even get Glenn to take one. But I must say he is nice and will go to the store with me and stay in the car with the girls so I don't have to find a parking spot...yeah!
Spring is awesome!! Your boys are cute. I love trusted recipes too. Feels so good when you know it is going to come out great!
Thanks for the fun post
Your boys are adorable!
I'm glad you have a husband that will voluntarily take all three babies to the grocery, that's a rare find.
I love your list, especially the Super Target. That's a favorite of mine too.
I'm with you on these and couldn't agree more about loving an empty dishwasher. Don't you feel like you really get slowed down when you go to do dishes only to find a dishwasher full of clean dishes!!
