I spent most of my day working in the garden and loved it! So, when I went to Target at 5 p.m. (when the store is filled with people who are on their way home from work) to pick up my essentials, I had many people give me the, "how pathetic that you stay home all day and can't find a moment to shower, get dressed, or put on makeup!" kind of a look. I had to laugh just a little. An ugly trip to Target is totally worth my soon to arrive home grown veggies and the unsolicited, "I love you" that I got from Andrew when I put him to bed tonight.
I realize I haven't posted in a while. For all my worried readers, posts are on the horizon.

You gotta love those garden days! And I sooo am with you on the going to Target like that. Only mine is right after the gym and happens frequently. Hooray for veggies on the way!
I am always so happy when I go out to Target, no matter what I look like. And by this point, I have grown so accustomed to wearing a baseball hat and yoga pants there that maybe I don't notice the looks anymore. So glad you got to work in the garden. If you get a chance, I'd love to see some pics of it.
that is sweet about Andrew going to bed. Sounds like a you a good day of hard work...congrats...I am impressed that you can do that with three kids. I would fear that I would loose one...namely Miriam..that little rascal.
