We have great pictures and memories of the Halloween parties my mom would put together when we were little. It was always fun to get together with our cousins and bob for apples and indulge in sugar! April and I thought we definitely needed to pass along the tradition to the next generation, so we had a Hasler family Halloween party and it was a hit!
Here's the lineup! Aunt Catie came and did makeup and the cat nose quickly became very popular amongst the kiddies.
The cousins divided into two teams and mummified me and Catie. Catie's team obviously won!
Then we played the classic Halloween party game (at least it's classic for us Haslers). Eating your striped cookie off a string with no hands! Andrew was a natural and totally went for the cookie! Tanner, went for the cookie and didn't care about using his hands. All cookies were eaten!

We had mummies for dinner (hot dogs wrapped in crescent rolls), made spider cookies, turned our pumpkin patch into jack-o-lanterns, and made a mess of April's house. The kids had a great time, and we did too! Here's a slew of pictures, but how could I leave one of these adorable faces out?
