Friday night was the Reds game. The boys have really been looking forward to this. I took them to the grocery store and they each got to choose a candy they could take to the game, which meant total sugar overload! But, we had to keep them going because we wanted to stay for the fireworks after the game.
Much to Mike's delight, we arrived early and got settled in our seats. Our fellow BYU MBA family joined us and we had a great evening cheering for the Reds.

The look on tanner's face is exactly how all our boys felt about this game. Even today, Tanner and Reid were pretending to go to the Reds game. Ha!

We weren't sure we were going to last long enough for the fireworks, but everybody was having a great time and we ended up staying. They all loved watching the fireworks and Tanner thought they were, "super nuper woud!"
Amelia was a trooper, especially considering that we didn't get home until midnight! There's something so comfortable and fun about a summer baseball game.
Saturday morning, we met up with our Purdue P&G interns, Ben and Allison and family, and headed up to Caesar Creek Reservoir and spent the day playing on the beach and kayaking in their very unique and cool kayak. You use your feet to pedal propellers on the bottom of the kayak and so you can cover much more water. Mike and I took all three boys out and had a great ride. It took some convincing to get Andrew off the kayak, he was really having a great time.

After a night at the Reds game and a day in the lake, this is what our kiddos looked like while driving home. Exhausted from so much fun. Like I said, we're making up for last year and packing in as much play time as we can!

Hey, Ben said we could try that thing out in Idaho last year! Guess it's for MBA students only. Oh well. Looks like you had a blast!
How fun! I love going to baseball games....glad you are having fun!!!
You guys certainly are packing in the fun activities this summer! Baseball games are the best.
Thanks for the Reality Check post. I'm not glad to hear that you had a rough day, but it's good for me to know that I'm not the only one who has them! And kudos to you and your boys for the potty training. Any tips for me? I've been meaning to start working on Sterling, but it's really just so much more work! (As you know.) Sounds like your boys are champs.
You are making me miss your kids and you and Mike way too much!
