Family Reunion Happenings

I'm not quite sure how to approach posting a gazillion pics and capturing our wonderful family reunion. I started with a huge post where I uploaded tons of pics in the order I needed them only to have blogger fail to save them. Ugh! So bear with me, I'm breaking this up and going at it a second time.

The Christensen Reuionion 2011 was in Bear Lake Idaho this year and it was absolutely delightful! I feel like I haven't truly enjoyed a reunion in a while. The last few I've been pregnant and vomiting, pregnant and on bed rest, or pregnant and working. Needless to say, it wouldn't have taken much to make this a totally awesome reunion.

We took a short, but beautiful hike to a small mountain lake and glacier. It was gorgeous! The kids had a great time on the hike and we had fun swinging on a rope swing into the lake.

Here I am, one of the firsts to take a swing. This is a glacial lake, so it's quite the shock when you land. Here's Mikey posing for the crowd! Isn't there a big difference between a very nice SLR camera (Mike's pic) and our our old point and shoot (my pic). If Mike is ever stumped at what to get me for Christmas, could someone please help him out!

Reid was a champ and really wanted to swing; however, he didn't let go the first time! He went for it a second time and did great!
The Christensens love their games and this reunion had some great ones! Matt and Cam put on a Minute to Win It that was a hit with all ages. Here's Camie, Rachelle, Tanner, and Cameron stacking dice on a popsicle stick positioned in their mouths.
Reid and Adam were a team in the "Look like you're a robber with nylons on your head and knock down water bottles" game.

Reid and I worked it moving our Oreo from our foreheads to our mouths!
These boys had so much fun with the props for the games. Who needs toys when you have nylons with a tennis ball?

With all this playing, Tanner needed a break. He's such a cutie!
Eric and Katie introduced the "Wack your neighbor's tail off" game. Also another hit with both adults and kids!

What fun! I think you should put together a blog post about all the games with rules and instructions, you're always talking about fun games!!! Glad you enjoyed yourselves!
