A Weekend in Bountiful

Over Thanksgiving, we introduced the boys to Star Wars and they have loved it! Mike and Dad C. wanted to watch more Star Wars, so we headed up Friday afternoon for another weekend in Bountiful. First, the boys and Grandma performed "Must be Santa" then we had pizza and watched more Star Wars! Their performance was adorable. Can you see Tanner trying to hold his hands up for the chorus while still holding his props? So cute!
The next morning, Mike headed back to Provo to study for finals while the kids and I went to Breakfast in Bethlehem at grandma and grandpa's church. The boys made a quick trip to the costume closet and dressed as shepherds. I didn't pull out my camera because my patience was gone and I was upset with non-listening children. This picture is compliments of grandpa's camera, he still thought they were adorable at that moment. Ha!
After we returned home, grandpa ran errands with Reid while these three made cinnamon rolls for Christmas morning. These boys LOVE baking with grandma!
Adam's still working on getting his knee going after surgery and it's fun having him around!
While dough was mixing, Andrew and Tanner waited anxiously by the timer so they could get back to work with grandma. These boys LOVE their grandma, and love working in the kitchen with her.
Amelia decided to join the boys for a bath and went in head first! Mike was right there and watched her dive in, she wasn't too phased by it.

It was a great weekend, it always is when we go to Bountiful. Mike's parents are so good to us, we love being with them and in their home. It's such a retreat from our little town home.

Sounds like you had a great weekend there! What a great thing that you live so close to them because they are always so fun! That picture of Amelia after diving in is classic! And I'm glad you mentioned you not wanting to take a picture of non-listening kids--the honesty of the reality of young children is comforting!
