Triathlon

 Look at these boys, aren't they studs!  Ever since Andrew participated in our YMCA's triathlon last year, all three boys have talked about doing it this year!  I thought they were so cute with their numbers on their arms and their chips around their ankles, excited to go!

 We had a few friends from church and the neighborhood also participating.  It's always fun to have a few friends in the competition.  Brynn, Tanner, Reid, Sage, Andrew, and Taylor.

 Andrew has become a great swimmer this year!  Unfortunately, we left his goggles home, which threw off his rotary breathing (which he didn't like until he understood it's how mom beats dad in a swimming race!), but he was still awesome!

 Reid had this coy smile on his face the whole time, I thought it was so cute!

Tanner looks a little anxious in this pic, he had gotten some water in his face at the very end of his lap.  He did a great job on his swim!

 Tanner was hilarious coming back from his bike ride.  There was a little girl in front of him who was taking her time and he was so anxious to get around her!  He kept trying to slip around her on one side and then another.  When she finally moved out of the way, he sprinted past her with his bike (they weren't allowed to ride in the transition area).  He was so cute, such a competitor!

 Isabel didn't race, but was so cute to make a sign cheering on all the neighborhood kids.

 

Here are my triathletes!  Aren't they so cute, so happy, so tough!  

Mike and I have always loved a race environment!  It's so uplifting and encouraging, people working hard to accomplish something.  These boys felt soooo good after they finished their race.  We loved seeing the sense of accomplishment, confidence and happiness in each of them!  Love these kids!
