Happy Easter!

Happy Easter from our family to yours! We've had a wonderful time preparing for and celebrating Easter! We've told the story of Christ's resurrection over and over and this morning Andrew told it to our family before our egg hunt and conference. It was cute to hear his four-year-old version.
Yesterday we colored our eggs and the boys had a ball! I should have colored twice as many, they could have gone on forever!

Reid making his orange egg.
Tanner checking on his purple egg.
Big Andrew was set on making a bright yellow egg. Just as soon as he finished it, he dropped it on the floor! He quickly got to work on another yellow egg.
This morning we did an Easter egg hunt in our house. They had a great time running though the house hunting for eggs.

This was the best smile Andrew could give me while he was stuffing his mouth full of candy.

General Conference is such a special time. I would love to say this is how our boys behaved for each session, but it would be a big fat lie! They listened for a while and colored in their conference packets, but then they were onto other things. We let them play with play dough in the kitchen and it bought us a good 45 minutes, but there was play dough everywhere! I guess Tanner and Reid started a game throwing their play dough.
Between sessions, we joined some friends for Easter brunch and another egg hunt. Yes, that's snow! We got about three inches last night, but most of it melted by mid afternoon.

We hope you had a great Easter too!

Look at those beautiful kids! They're just darling. What? Your kids didn't sit still during all of Conference? j/k. Even my 12-year-old has a hard time sitting through very many talks. That's why I always like to go back and read the talks I couldn't really listen to.
